Neoprene Setting Blocks

Setting blocks are used to isolate and elevate the insulating glass unit from the sash. Setting blocks act as cushions and help support the glass. By elevating the I.G. unit, the setting blocks help keep the edges out of contact with any water that may be trapped in the glazing pocket.

  • Cushion and support glass, reducing glass breakage.
  • Helps glass withstand vibration and shock from handling, shipping and wind-loads.
  • Good durability under installed conditions.
  • Performs well under high and low temperatures.
  • Available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA).
  • Available in black.
  • Setting blocks with PSA are supplied kiss-cut in rolls.
  • Non-adhesive setting blocks are supplied in bulk in cartons.
The neoprene material makes the blocks resilient, which allows the insulating glass unit to handle stressed conditions. Setting blocks with PSA are especially recommended for knock-on glazing application.
